Earth Day Mug Giveaway

For Earth Day 2025, we’re teaming up with Save Barnegat Bay to encourage everyone to help keep our local communities free of trash and litter. We’re giving away 75 FREE mugs (no purchase necessary, all painting & firing included). All you need to do is participate in an independent clean up, take a photo, and tag us and Save Barnegat Bay. This can simply be you and your family filling up a bag of trash while walking your dog, or going for a stroll down the beach! Then stop in to Wish Upon a Jar anytime from April 22 to May 20 to claim your free mug. Our goal is for everyone to do a small part in their neighborhood or places they frequent, whenever they have a few minutes to do so.

How did this idea come about? While going on daily walks with studio pups Draco and Irwin around their neighborhood, owners Laurelyn & Matt were always disappointed by the amount of litter they would pass. Matt decided to start cleaning up trash every day on the walks (with moral support from Irwin & Draco of course), and though at first the amount he collected was a bit disheartening, soon we could see a noticeable difference in the neighborhood. He came up with the idea for this promotion to encourage people to just do a small part for their local area.
