DDD Services at Wish Upon A Jar

Did you know that Wish Upon A Jar is an approved vendor for NJ DDD services? We are registered through Public Partnerships and have many painters that use their DDD budget in our studio.

How does it work? 

• Each DDD client will have a budget to use in our studio for each session. The budget and the number of sessions per month varies from person-to-person and will be established with the help of a support coordinator.

• The client can use their budget to paint anything in the studio. In some cases, the provided budget will cover both the DDD client and a family member or friend and sometimes it’s just the individual. This will also vary from person-to-person. 

• Once there is an established budget & approved SDR, clients can come into our studio to paint anytime as a walk-in painter. There is no need to sign up for specific classes or events, but they are welcome to use their budget to attend a public class or event if they would like to.

We strive to provide a safe, comfortable, and inclusive environment at Wish Upon A Jar. We are wheelchair accessible, including the restroom, and we offer adaptive brush handles for those who wish to use them.
